Getaway to Jackson!

At the beginning of June, Laexing went to stay with Trev, Ramey and the kids and the rest of the kids ended up at Grammie and Papa's so LeGrand and I worked out tails off on the house and also took a few days to play a little.  We FINALLY found our way to Jackson Hole!  We've lived here nearly 10 years and never made it up that way.  It was a perfect refresher as I was really starting to loose my mind over all of the work needing done on the house.  Towards the end especially it just got hard, really hard!

We headed to Star Valley WY for the first night, intending to eat at a little seafood restaurant there that everyone talks about.  We walked through the door just minutes after they had to close down because one of their hood fans had gone out and was filling the little place with smoke...we were totally bummed.  Also, we had just walked there from our hotel and it started pouring rain as we stood there trying to figure out where we were going to eat now.  We ended up at a little bbq joint that was pretty good - but still disappointed about the seafood!  The next day we made our way to Jackson Hole where we stayed for two night, sightseeing and exploring!

Even with all of the pressure and stress I was feeling over needing to get SO many things done at the house, I was so so glad we took this opportunity to get away for a couple of nights...it was much needed!
