Loa turns 14!

I'm really not sure how we got here - I both love and hate how fast kids grow up...the baby stage is hard and some days feel so redundant with never ending diapers and feedings and before you know it they are all slowly becoming teenagers, it kinda sucks!

Loa's birthday landed on Sunday, so the day before her request was to hang out with friends at the park, we had a light dinner - complete with a dragon cake that she made herself - it was amazing, of course!  She had a great day, and although we didn't have her gift to give her that day...she was so excited to know that her 3D printer was in the mail headed to her.  It's all she wanted and she kept that thing going non-stop for the first few weeks!

Loa has had an extra challenging year --I'm so grateful to have been able to witness her resilience, and strength as she faced all the hard things. She never did really make friends at school, but she learned to make the best of it!  Now, it's almost over and she can't believe she made it.  Being a Jr. High Girl is just no fun anyway, I'm just so proud of her for pushing through and learning that she can do hard things!  She is so creative, witty, and fun to be around - everyone compliments me on the fun she brings. Sure love this girl!

And she got some gifts from her siblings :)

Puppies!

When Laexin decided to purchase Maggie a few years back, one of his purposes was to breed her and sell the puppies to make some money for his mission.  He has been wanting to breed her since before we moved and we finally bit the bullet, found a great breeder and bred her.  She was due April 7th while my parents were in town...early that morning around 4:30am she went into labor and had 7 healthy puppies - she is an awesome Mom and has been so good at taking care of them, she handled labor like a champ and the kids have had a great learning experience.  Those last few days, the poor girl looked miserable!

The kids LOVE holding the puppies every chance they get - they are just so cuddly! The Puppies also became the talk of the ward getting lots of visit from our friends!

Easter Weekend!

We were SO excited to have Grammie and Papa come visit for Easter Weekend and Spring Break. We enjoyed lots of games, time with friends, good food and fun!

Coloring eggs!

Loa scored these dinos at the bin store, she thought there was one in the package for $7 and it ended up being a pair - the girls had so much fun playing in them around the house.

Our good friends the Millers invited us and the Moss families over for Easter dinner and Egg hunts, everyone had a great time!

We also got to sing to and Celebrate LeGrands Birthday which landed on Easter this year!
