Loa turns 14!

I'm really not sure how we got here - I both love and hate how fast kids grow up...the baby stage is hard and some days feel so redundant with never ending diapers and feedings and before you know it they are all slowly becoming teenagers, it kinda sucks!

Loa's birthday landed on Sunday, so the day before her request was to hang out with friends at the park, we had a light dinner - complete with a dragon cake that she made herself - it was amazing, of course!  She had a great day, and although we didn't have her gift to give her that day...she was so excited to know that her 3D printer was in the mail headed to her.  It's all she wanted and she kept that thing going non-stop for the first few weeks!

Loa has had an extra challenging year --I'm so grateful to have been able to witness her resilience, and strength as she faced all the hard things. She never did really make friends at school, but she learned to make the best of it!  Now, it's almost over and she can't believe she made it.  Being a Jr. High Girl is just no fun anyway, I'm just so proud of her for pushing through and learning that she can do hard things!  She is so creative, witty, and fun to be around - everyone compliments me on the fun she brings. Sure love this girl!

And she got some gifts from her siblings :)
