7-11 Fishing volunteers

LeGrand signed him and the kids up to help with a kids fishing day at the Merwin Dam where he works - it was for disabled kids to go fishing. They stocked the pond by the fish hatchery and then the kids got to catch 3 fish each.

LeGrand and the kids had such a great experience, it was good for the kids to see other kids who have disabilities and have the chance to help them.  Laexin said it was a 'Blast!'

I'm grateful they have a dad who takes them to do things like this and teaches them to love everyone!

LeGrand even got his mug & name mentioned in the write up that the Oregonian newspaper did about the event!

Volunteer day just happened to be on July 11th, 7-11 so the little ones and I met up with LeGrand and the older kids after their volunteering for free slurpees :)

Portland Zoo

After about a week and a half of sitting home after baby was born, everyone was 'itching' to get out of the house so we attempted an outing to the Zoo.  The kids had a great time and I survived being on my feet for 3 hours straight.

Family of 6!

Adjusting to 4 kids has been CRAZY!  So many people told me that if you can handle 3 it's all cake from there on.  Well...I sorta disagree, 4 kids has rocked my world - all of the sudden I feel 'out of control'...it doesn't help that Lytzi was only 23 months when Linq was born, having 2 in diapers is for the birds :)  But...we are s l o w l y adjusting.  The kids really love their brother, especially Lytzi - she constantly wants to 'hold the baby', 'touch baby's nose', 'see Linqy' etc.

And when we're not all wrapped up in baby, they are all silly as ever!

Laexin will probably kill me for this some day - he told me to delete it, ha ha!

Crazy Loa always needs me to 'take a picture'!

Summer isn't complete without a kiddie pool & ice cream!

While Mom and Baby are resting, there's been a lot of this going on at our house :)
