Conference weekend Get-away!

We decided to start a new family tradition and I'm ALREADY loving it! We're going to "Get-Away" for every conference weekend! It' so nice to be somewhere that we can focus and take in both days of conference without being distracted by our own things!

For our first get-away we headed somewhere I'm almost embarrassed to admit, I've never been! BEAR LAKE!

The weather turned out to be BEAUTIFUL, especially for the beginning of October!

We SWAM

We EXPLORED & PLAYED in the LAKE

We ATE (Raspberry Shakes, of course!)

We PLAYED

We WATCHED CONFERENCE & RELAXED - It was Wonderful!

Life...

...gets SO crazy sometimes :)

I had a great time (and Success!!!) at my first BIG boutique (The Holy Cow)! I'm now preparing and looking forward to the Holiday Show the weekend before Thanksgiving!!!

Our Garden has been producing! YAY! I don't think there are many things better than fresh veggies from the garden, the garden you grew, pampered, watered, weeded YOURSELF!! I've loved the fresh salsa! And I recently got some tomato soup canned and it's FABULOUS!!

The kids are growing! I know it's inevitable BUT sometimes I just can't take HOW FAST it happens! Little LoaLin is coming up on SIX MONTHS - ahhhh!!! She's happy as can be and LOVING "real food"!

Our FAVORITE missionary has approximately 3.5 months LEFT -HOW did that happen???!!

I'm in about the BEST shape of my life as I continue to TRAIN for the BIG 1/2 marathon (I'm sure some of you think a 1/2 marathon is a cop out (0f the real thing), that's ok, cause for me IT'S a really BIG DEAL) coming up on the 6th of November --my last long run...10 miles --WOW, I can't even believe it!!!

LeGrand is Working and WORKING --His LAST day off October 5th, his NEXT day off November 5th --I'm not looking forward to 31 days of work BUT, THANK HEAVENS he does it WILLINGLY, and NEVER complains AND has a FANTASTIC job!! Plus this only happens like once a year so seriously, how can I complain?!

On ANOTHER note - I slightly enjoy Fall, BUT I REALLY dread the thought of WINTER, and I SUPER dislike the lack of daylight! AND I am ACHING for a TRIP to the BIG APPLE --even though I've been there TWICE this year ---
