Birthday-Easter Weekend in Vernal

This year was a special year, LeGrand's Birthday landed on Easter!  Yay for 33 years!  We went to Vernal for the weekend. We stayed with Trev & Ramey, the kids loved it!  Friday morning Ramey and I made breakfast for everyone, we made a trip to Basin Sports to pick up LeGrand's B-day present --a new HR17 Rifle, then the boys headed out for a day of metal detecting --while the girls hung out!  We had a family friend visiting who once served as a missionary in Vernal, it was fun to see him again after all of these years --he also got to join in on all of the fun!

Saturday started out in a great way with my Little Sis going through the temple for the first time .  Followed up with a Luncheon at my parents house with lots of family and friends!

Sunday the Easter bunny left eggs all over the yard, the kids were pumped!  They also got a small Easter basket from Grammie & Papa & Suitcases filled with goodies from the Easter Bunny --they are in preparation for our family vacation in April!

We went to sacrament meeting then home for a yummy lunch, Easter egg hunt then visit to grandmas later that afternoon finishing off with a game of cards at Trev & Ramey's

Monday morning we were up bright and early and on the road by 7am so that we could make it back to Grace for Laex to go to school at Noon --we made it just in time!

ST. Patty's Day!

I love how excited the kids get about 'the little things'!  The Leprechaun always visit's us on St. Patty's Day and leaves clover confetti and Lucky Charms and colors our milk green --the kids look forward to it, and LOVE it!

Grammie & Papa sent the kids these cute leprechaun plates, cups & bowls which we used to eat our Reuben Sandwich dinner :)

Studio 5

(My Cheerleaders!)

Once again I had the opportunity to be on Studio 5.  This is truly one of my favorite things to do, I just have journalism (and creativity) running through my veins.  I'm so grateful for each opportunity the sweet people at Studio 5 allow me to do what I love.
My theme was decorating with trees, it was lots of fun!
