Kids in July

Just a few randoms from July!

One of Loa's favorite things is to steal my phone and take selfies, crazy woman!

Linq learned how to wiggle out of his belt on his chair and I caught him proud as a peacock sitting in the middle of the table with his sisters banana!

The July holidays wore this girl out, a few days without a nap and I found her asleep in the rocker

The kids found this big moth in the driveway and Loa was extra concerned about it's broken wing

Linq had his first ride on the mower with dad

The kids got a gator to add to their 'car collection' and have a blast chasing each other around!

Lytzi has decided she's big enough to drive by herself and it is scary! ha ha!!

Laexin is 9!

And Birthday number two for the week....Laexin!  Can't believe how fast this boy is growing up! This kid is honest, helpful, kind, loving, compassionate, a book worm, smart, social, adventurous, athletic and caring!
Laexin is the best first child ever! He rarely complains about helping out instead is usually encouraging is sisters to not complain and just 'get it done'.  He loves school and is a magnet that the kids are drawn to. He loves watching and playing sports and is really into current events and cop shows :)  He is such an all around good kid, we are blessed to have him!

After MONTHS of prodding he could never come up with anything he wanted for his birthday (no surprise, that's just the kind of kid he is) so he got money to add to some he has been saving.  He did eventually buy himself a drone, and continues to save the rest!

He was happy with his date to the trash car races and an ice cream cake on his big day --He decided he would have his birthday dinner on our trip to Washington!

Lytzi Belle turns 3!!

When you're Birthday lands on fair week there's a whole bunch of extra celebrating :)
We sure love this lady!!

Shes spunky. Full of it. Sassy. Contagious. Funny. Bossy. Cute. Smart. Silly. Loveable. The Life of our party and a princess through and through!  Things are always duller without this girl around - we just can't get enough of her!

FAIR WEEK!

-+*
The highlight of summer in Grace is the Caribou County Fair!  We had a busy, full week.  I helped in the pie booth with the youth.  The kids rode their bikes in the kids parade.

We saw some fun stage shows, including a reptile show where I got volunteered to hold this giant snake!

We had lots of yummy fair food.  We watched motocross & snowmachine grass races.  We checked out all of the fair entries, and visited all of the animals (more than once!).

We gathered lots of candy at the grand parade.  And topped the week off with trash car races --We left the younger three kids with a babysitter and Laex came with LeGrand and I for his B-day date, he had fun getting spoiled!

 Sunsets in Grace NEVER disappoint!

The kids also made a few bucks with their entries in the fair, Loa got one of the best themed awards and won and extra $5, she was pretty excited!
