Family Visitors!

We LOVE visitors and were excited when JG called and said He, Heather and Ledjin were coming to visit.

We had a fun time showing them around grace - and as always the kids played nonstop!  The kids hijacked my phone and took some selfies, haha!

On our little tour we stopped at Black Canyon which is always a hit!  It's one of the places that makes me love where we live, so beautiful!

We also took a walk to the edge of our hill to look out over the Hydro plant then we drove to the Plant at Alexander where LeGrand gave them a tour & ended with ice cream at arctic circle and a stop at Hooper springs to check out the soda water.  We're glad they got to visit!

Vernal Visit

On Mom's birthday we mad a trip to surprise her.  LeGrand was working so I just took the four kids.  It was fun to hang out and even funner because Ramey and the kids were in Vernal for a few weeks from Texas.

They got lots of rides on Papa's train!

The kids had a great time playing in the sprinkler, I hadn't brought swimsuits so they improvised... Avi's suit was maybe a little big for Loa ;)  Linqy's favorite water was Grammies fountain on her porch!

Avi's new little puppy was also a big hit, that thing got mauled to death!

Grammie and Papa took the July Birthday kids shopping and they had a blast picking out what they wanted!  Some reason I don't have a picture of Laexin with his, but he got a big Nerf gun, Lytzi got all princessed out and Linqy loved his airplane!

The kids also got to help Papa take care of the pigs!

Tonsils & Check up's!

Laexin started out his summer with removal of his tonsils and adnoids.  He was pretty excited to get to only eat ice cream for two weeks until the surgery was actually over and then he decided on day two that it wasn't really that fun! :)  He did awesome and I did my best to make him take it easy, after about day 10 he was feeling great and back to normal activities!  He's already doing a lot less snoring!

Linq had his 1 year check up and weighed in just under 22 lbs.  He's growing and developing awesome!  He is such a fun addition to our family, his little personality is just sprouting and I love it. He's easy going and content but busy.  He loves to be doing whatever the other kids are doing.  He's really starting to find his voice and likes to talk and yell - everytime I yell for one of the kids, he yells too!  He's walking and climbing on everything.  He gets most upset when he is hungry and/or tired...he must take that from his mom!  We sure love this little guy!

I'm not quite sure why they were all hanging out on the couch here but they said, "Mom, take a picture!"  Love these goons!

Swimming & Sushi!

At the end of June Laex and Loa took swim lessons from one of our favorite people, Suzy S.!  So happy she agreed to give them private lessons, she really is the best!  They both made huge improvements and Laexin is planning to get on the Lava swim team, I'm excited for him to become a great swimmer!

We also took the opportunity that same week to hit the lava pool and slides, the kids beg and beg to go and we decided if we didn't just do it the summer was going to be over and we'd never make it - everyone had a fantastic time!

On one of our long day shopping trips in Pocky we decided to try the new Tepenyaki/sushi place.  Of course the kids LOVED it.  I just had to document how much my kids like sushi - its so funny when Loa puts on her school paper that her favorite food is Sushi - no pizza and nuggets for this kid.  Might I add, they are braking the bank with their refined pallets, haha!

4th of July!

Small town Holidays are always fun!  LeGrand was working for the 4th so the kids and I met up with the Johnson's at the Soda Springs parade and LeGrand was able to sneak away from work for a bit and join us. Of course we left with plenty of candy :)
(Laexin did the before the parade fun run in his flip flops, haha)

In the afternoon we went to the Johnsons for a BBQ, I had gotten a migraine a few hours before so I was still fighting it and not feeling the best but the burgers sure tasted yummy :)

That night Nicki and Rusty Mortensen invited us to go to Lava and watch fireworks.  We got parked and walked to get ice cream...I was pretty nauseous from my headache so I didn't have any ice cream.  Luckily after a pill and some coke I was feeling much better.  The kids had lots of fun and the fireworks were great!
