Texas Tech!

We decided to embrace Lubbock and got tickets to the first home football game of the season...plus it was a fun last hoorah for Laexin.  We had fun witnessing the 'throwing of the tortillas' which ended up outlawed after the first few games this year. The energy in the stadium was awesome, we had a blast!  

A storm rolled in so we bounced before it hit, but the sky was incredible as it was coming in!

 

Laexin Temple Endowment and Farewell #2

 On August 23, 2024 Laexin went through the Lubbock temple and received his endowments, it was a perfect day!  It was so special to have all of my siblings in the temple along with a few friends from the ward.  After ward he requested lunch at Crush for some good 'ol Chinese fast food...it's become one of his favorite places.  Then we hung out and had fun being together.  

The next day, Sunday he gave his farewell talk....for the second time.  He's had quite the unique experience getting to do this both in Idaho and now in Texas.  We had all of the family over after for a luncheon and were happy to have Avi come from college and Bo also join us - another perfect day!

We had to do a photo re-create before they aren't together for two years!
