8 month Lytzi

This little girl is PURE JOY.  I know she was sent to our family at the perfect time.  I almost forget she's around sometimes, she's just so easy.  3 kids makes things hectic and I haven't been very good at keeping up with all of her 'stages'!
She has gotten the army crawl down, once in a while she will 'regular crawl' but it is only 3 or 4 crawls then she goes back to doing what she knows best, army crawl :)
In the past couple of days she has been pulling herself up on everything, she's constantly standing at the couch and pulling everything off or bugging the kids while they watch movies.  She pulls herself to standing on the kitchen chairs, dish washer etc.  Yesterday, I went in to get her after her nap and she was standing, hanging on to the crib rail just a cheesing it!
She's so busy that if I put her to sit on the floor she never lasts more than a second before she takes off.  She's constantly on the move and loves to be exploring everything.  At church it's a constant wrestle :)
She still has yet to get any teeth but all of the kids have been late teethers so I'm not surprised.  She did have her first 'real' flu last week and it was no fun, she had a low grade fever for 3 days and she didn't sleep well and was so sad, it was rough especially for my normally happy girl.
She loves to eat, everything.  Of course she had her first taste of ice cream at like 3 months, nothing new for our house :) She especially loves to eat whatever we are eating, she's awesome at picking up food and feeding herself.  She eats anything and everything and lots of it, she's now in 12 month clothing and is going to make me broke if she keeps eating like she is :)
The kids love the crap out of her, a bit too much love sometimes :).  They are starting to have more fun with her now that she's on the move and they can play with her.  They love to make her laugh by tickling her. I love that they all love each other so much!

Frozen Hydro

We love grabbing lunch and visiting LeGrand at work to eat together.  During the summer its funner for the kids because they get to play outside, they particularly like the lake.  They were restless one day we went to visit so LeGrand took us all through the plant on a little tour.  We don't often get to go inside so the kids were very excited.
I always love the view, the whole dam freezes during the winter, it's pretty amazing to see.

Snowmobiling

At the end of February we were once again the recipients of a fun trip from Bart & Linda Simmons (remember the amazing time we had at Lake Powell thanks to them?! :)  Linda actually had to stay home to care for Bart's Dad, we were sad she didn't get to join us.  Loa was visiting Aunt Kenz & Grammie & Papa for a week and the sweet Lunt family took Lytzi for the day so, Laex, Grand & I joined Bart for a fun day in the back country of Idaho :)  Just up past Soda Springs, clear to the top of the mountain so that we looking out over Grace.

It was quite the adventure as none of us has spent much time on snowmobiles & we may have tipped them over a few times :)

Laex had a good time but actually got pretty bored and wanted to come home about half way through, then we pulled out lunch and he was all energized again!

Valentines!

LeGrand and I had plans to go out on the afternoon of Valentines day, so that morning we all celebrated with a yummy valentines Breakfast.  Heart pancakes with chocolate chips, strawberries & whipped cream, bacon & pink milk!

My little baller!

For seven weeks during the months of January and February we spent our Saturdays in Smithfield watching this little stud's basketball games.  He was on a team put together through the city of Smithfield (since we don't have anything closer & he was begging to play, we agreed).  Little did we know we have such a baller on our hands.  He is quite the player.  The teams are co-ed and are 1st & 2nd graders, he was one of the youngest and blew us away with his abilities.

I'm pretty proud to have a kid this talented.  We sure loved cheering him on and watching him improve!  I've said it before and I'll say it again - he's quite the athlete! We were elated watching their last game of the season, he made 8 points and every player on his team was able to make a basket -it was fun!

6 Month Lytzi

We just can't get enough of this little lady.  She is ALWAYS the happiest thing ever!  She's got a perma-grin that goes for miles and loves to socialize wherever we go.  She's so content and easy to please and lights up when she sees her brother & sister.  But, she wouldn't be my child if she wasn't ultra busy all the time!

At six months she topped the chart in weight: 14 lbs 13 oz (that's over 8 lbs gained since birth), Height: 24"

She LOVES food (can you tell??)

I was eating this sucker one day and she grabbed a hold of it and wouldn't let go --then she tasted it and the rest was history--nothing like a sugar high!

She's the best possible addition to our family, we love her to pieces!
