Fishing + More Track + Randoms

 

Love watching Laexin in all his sports!  Some of these spring track meets were a little chilly!

The minute the weather starts warming up the kids can't wait to get out --the had been begging to go fishing so the middle of April we went for our first  fishing trip behind the Grace dam...we didn't catch anything but we had fun!

Linq was also happy to get out on his bike...riding to the bus was much easier than walking :)

At the end of April Dad and Mom came for a few weeks (at different times) so that dad could help LeGrand get all the electrical ran in the house, it was quite the undertaking but they managed to get it mostly done...I later helped LeGrand do all the finishing things.

Loa turns 11

We had a fun time celebrating Loa on her 11th Birthday!  She picked out her birthday dessert of strawberries and Marshmallow cream with whipped cream on top :)

 

April 'Snow' Showers + Spring Track Starts

Just a few days after the nice Easter weather, on April 5th, we got a spring snowstorm!  Linq had a good time enjoying the snow...I stayed in where it was warm, ha ha!

Only a few days after the snowstorm Laexin had his first spring track meet.  He enjoyed doing hurdles, high jump, triple jump and relay throughout the season--he even tried discus during his first meet.

LeGrands 41st & Easter

We made it home just a few days before LeGrands 41st birthday --it true fashion, he got to work on his birthday...but we celebrated with a Banana Cream Pie! His favorite from Maddox!

Easter was low key.  We colored eggs and hunted for baskets --we were just happy for the relatively nice weather :)
