Out Numbered

Come the first part of august, the boys in our family are going to be out numbered!  LeGrand's not sure he can handle anymore estrogen in this house but apparently he doesn't have a choice :)  We're so excited to welcome another spirit into our home!

Princess Party

Loa got invited to her first Birthday Party and she was soooooo excited!  It was a PRINCESS party for her little friend Blayr.  She got to dress up like a princess and enjoy all kinds of fun stuff, they did manicures, colored hair extensions, glitter tatoos, games, had lunch & cake and Ice Cream.  She had a BLAST!

My little fish!

This boy has always been a lover of water!  We signed him up to take some swim lessons at the Lava swimming pool, he was so excited when Fridays rolled around, and I was so excited to get out of the house :)  He did awesome and wasn't ready to be done when his 5 weeks were up!

Sis would've rather been in the water too but was pretty good at entertaining herself while Laex swam

Cabin Fever

I've been D.O.N.E. with this weather and cold frigid temps for probably way too long :)  And I know, where I live, I'll be lucky to have the snow gone by June --I'm really not made for this place ;)

The kids have been driving me a little bonkers, they just need to get out!  It's nice Laexin has school to go to most days - even if they don't get to play outside because it's too cold.  We finally had a day where the sun was shining --it looked nice, but it was still only about 20 degrees.  The kids were happy to get outside and LeGrand and I finally got the Christmas lights taken down!

Valentines

We started our Valentines day with pink heart pancakes (with chocolate chips, of course!), & Strawberry milk.  The kids loved it, they asked me to make them everyday!

That evening we took a trip to poky and enjoyed dinner at red lobster, it was a family occasion :)  It's funny how things change!

The kids loved their Dream lights we had for them when we got home!

It was a perfect day spent with my favorite people!

And a love gram from Grammie & Papa!

Gramps

On the Morning of Friday February 1st, my sweet Grandpa Berle J. Bell passed away at age 84.  It was an unexpected passing.  Just two weeks prior, Grandpa was doing great - still working at his little job at the super wash in town.  He got sick with the flu and couldn't get better and the week he passed they took him to the hospital to learn that he had congestive heart failure and blood clots in his lungs, among other things.  The morning he passed, was the day they were planning to send him home from the hospital.

Grandpa was never a man of many words, but when he did speak, you couldn't help but feel his love.  He had a tender heart, and a genuine care for people, especially his family.  I never doubted how much Grandpa loved me.  His smile lit up the room and he always greeted me with a big hug.  He was a simple, content, loving man who lived a full life.  While I feel a void in my heart with his passing, I know he's happy & I can't help but feel joy when thinking of the friends and family he's been reunited with. --He was the only Grandpa I've had most of my life (My other grandfather passed when I was in 5th grade) and I will truly miss him.  Love ya Gramps!

When hearing of the passing, we packed as quickly as possible and got on the road to Vernal.  We were able to spend the weekend with all of my Mom's extended family.  I was impressed by the many people who came to show their love, all of which brought food.  We had enough food from people in the wards & community to feed about 50 of us for 3 days it was so amazing.  People we're so generous.

We had a family viewing on Sunday night as Grandpa didn't want an open casket viewing.  Then Monday a public condolences prior to the funeral.  It was a sunny Winter day, the kids let off balloons following the grave dedication.

I'm grateful we were there to celebrate such a wonderful example!
