More and More Snow days!

Through the month of February I don't think we went to a full week of school because of snow days..the kids had a blast with extra sleepover nights and lots of snow play!  There was so much snow - we got sick and tired of shoveling and LeGrand would have day after day of work where he would spend his whole work day plowing, snow blowing and shoveling --also so many snow days that the kids would hope to be able to go to school the next day, ha ha!

Even in all the endless snow, Grace seems to show off!

We had a nasty drive home from the district bball game...

The kids loved getting creative and making slushies from the snow and juice!

They also had a fun time making snow caves

And so many great sledding hills!

One day I went to pick Loa up from school and I couldn't help but notice all of the massive icesicles and piles of snow almost as tall as the schools!

SO much Snow

January brought snow, and more snow, and more snow!  We had some below 30 tempuratures toward the end of the month and so many 'snow days' at school - the kids loved all the days off - we were getting tire of pushing snow...little did we know, this was only the beginning!

We needed to get out during one of the 'snow days' so we took a trip to the trampoline park in Logan...the kids had a blast!

Celebrating Oma & Opa

We were so lucky to have all of LeGrand's family gather at our place for a few days to celebrate his parents.  We had planned a celebration of Life and it was perfect.  We were able to have JG, Heather and Ledjin and Helinfield, Ed, Matthew and Carly come and stay with us for a few days and we just thouroughly enjoyed our time together.  Brad and Candace and their kids also were able to come for a night and we just had a blast with everyone!

Crusin with Cousins

For Christmas we surprised the kids with a cruise ...and the Hoopes clan got to join us!  It was much anticipated and everyone was so excited to go.  We had quite the experience getting to the ship...with delay after delay of flights and massive anxiety and stress when we did all we could do and things were out of our hands we FINALLY arrived at the port with only about 15 min. to spare.  It was much to close for comfort and an experience I never want to have again!  We were so relieved to make it to the ship it took a minute to even get excited..ha ha!

We had the best time with the cousins cruising the Eastern Carribbean for a week - we ate till we were sick, played, explored and made the best memories...I'll be making a seperate book all about the trip!

2023

We started out the New Year with Laexin becoming a PRIEST, ahhh! Where on earth has time gone! I hate it!

What goes up, must come down...removing the massive tree was as fun as putting it up!

Always helping Linq with homework and he's always wanting a picture :)
