We had a sweltering couple of weeks where the weather was in the nineties & even hundreds. We're told this is really rare for Washington...we were melting. Luckily we have some fun friends who invited us on multiple occasions to join them at the lake or river - the kids can play for hours in the water and sand!
Our first outing was to Frenchmans Bar Park and the kids played their little hearts out in the Columbia river!
We have also had a couple of fun days at Horseshoe lake in Woodland, WA!
And when all else fails, the backyard sprinklers and kiddie pool never disappoint!
