Loa Dog Bite

Loa was excited to be able to try some of the school sports now that she is in 6th Grade.  She did cross country in the fall.  One day she was supposed to be at practice and I opened the front door to get a package left on the porch and here comes Loa running up to the house holding her leg.  She proceeded to tell me that they were running down our street as part of their practice and the neighbors dog had bitten her.

Poor girl got it good!  Luckily she had a Tetnis  shot just this year so we didn't have to go for shots --after about a week the bruise covered almost her entire leg!  She was a little hesitant to run after that but she handled it pretty well.
