Viva Las Vegas!

We needed a break --we have been pretty "stuck at home" because of the ongoing COVID situation.  We tried to plan a cruise but with all of the stipulations and restrictions we decided it would be better to wait until we could fully enjoy it.  So...we looked for somewhere to go that we could have fun but be close enough to drive.  We decided on Las Vegas since none of the kids have been there...it ended up being quite the experience - Vegas is 'dirtier' than we remembered from when we were there 15 years ago 😮  We went the week before Thanksgiving because LeGrand had to work Thanksgiving day and the days following

The kids wanted to see the strip...we ended up seeing more bare butts and pasties to last us a lifetime - ha ha.  There were some fun things too!

We had to find the Linq so we could get a picture with Linq :)

We did a little shopping -- and this is how much fun the kids had!

Th kids only request was lots of arcades and food --they would've like some swimming too but unfortunately it wasn't warm enough at the end of November.

They loved playing all the pinball!

One night we left the kids at the hotel with treats and LeGrand and I went to the Michael Jackson show...it was a good time - and apparently the kids had fun too :)

Of Course we found some good food...this Cheviche was one of our favorite meals!

On Sunday we got to visit the Las Vegas Temple and then we took a drive to the Hoover Dam...it was pretty awesome!

We stopped at the Ethel M chocolate factory and Cactus garden

Every time we drove by the Vegas sign there was a big line...so we waited until the morning we were leaving and finally got our picture :)

It ended up being a good getaway - probably not our favorite trip but we made the most out of it and the kids will never forget all the things they saw, ha ha!
