for the MOM'S
I got this e-mail forwarded to me and I immediately thought of all of the great friends I have who are Mom's! This one's for all of you!
***
Before I was a Mom I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous. I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom I had never been puked on. Pooped on. Chewed on. Peed on.
I slept all night.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
Before I was a Mom I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests. Or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin. I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
Before I was a Mom I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put him down I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt. I never knew that I could love someone so much. I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body. I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby. I didn't know how strong was the bond between a mother and her child. I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.
Before I was a Mom I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay. I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.

Weekend with Family!
We decided to take a quick trip to Vernal to visit the Fam. Other than the bad roads, going and coming, we had a nice, relaxing time.
We went to Dinner for Trev's B-day, coming up this week!
Laex had fun with Grammy,Papa, Aunt Kenz, Uncle Cade and Playing with cousin Avi!
The boys (and the girls) had a blast playing guitar hero!

....rest of the story!
The rest of the "Love" story!
Thursday: Valentines day
LeGrand surprised me with lunch at the Chefs Table, it was FANTASTIC! And, I was so happy to have lunch - just me and him!
We sent Laexin to the babysitter and went and did Sealings.
Because of the surprise he kinda put a kink in my surprises - I'm not complaining- I did get around to writing a "glowing" message on the ceiling!
Friday: Showered with Love
Hugs and Kisses hanging from the shower head and a tub full of balloons!
Saturday: Little reminders, everywhere!
I had a blast putting "I Love You" confetti in all of his drawers, shoes, church boooks, on his pillow and anywhere else I could think!
Suday: Rest
We rested from our "Labors of Love"!

Week of Love...
This week Laexin and I have been doing special things each day for LeGrand.
Monday: Homemade Valentines
Laexin was thinking the paint was looking pretty tastey!
LeGrand was at school late so we smothered the front door with our creations!
Tuesday: Heart shaped pizza and cookies
(I didn't get a picture of the pizza, but it sure was yummy!)
Laexin will enjoy this a bit more when he gets older...but he did get to taste the frosting!
Wednesday: Balloons and chocolate
LeGrand and I were asked to be the "example couple" for the YM/YW etiquette dinner. After the meal I had our "waitress" deliver this to the table! There are two things LeGrand could live on, Chocolate (especially chocolate covered peanuts) and Ice Cream...he was very excited. And, Laexin loves the balloons!
...stay tuned for the rest of the week!
Love You!
As a kid I enjoyed Valentines day, complete with a homemade Valentines box, cool Valentine cards and enough heart candies to last all year (or at least make you sick).
As a teenager I hated Valentines day, complete with one big competition after another. Whoes boyfriend would send the biggest boquet of flowers to the school. Who would ask you to the dance. Who would get a boyfriend just for the gifts.
As an adult, I met you, and have come to LOVE Valentines day...and everyday for that matter! Complete with laughter, spontenaity, care, compassion, spirituality, sincerity, energy, memories, kindess, appreciation, selflessness and LOVE!
Thanks for:
*keeping life exciting
*working hard for our family
*being willing and worthy to serve
*encouraging and supporting me
*lightening my load
*making my day
You ROCK!

This week I'm Grateful for...

You GO, Lance Armstrong
I recently decided that I needed to switch-up my workout a bit. The same 'ol treadmill and elyptical machines are getting a bit boring and at 5:00 a.m. I need something to get me excited about working out. (This is the only time I can go because LeGrand is off to work and school all day and Leaxin can't quite watch himself yet:)
So, I decided to try out a Spinning class! How hard could riding a bike really be, right?! Can I just say, HOLY COW! The only thing I can think to compare it to is giving birth without an epidural, just when you think you are going to die, it's over!
Needless to say, I've gained a far greater appreciation for bike riders! Kudos to Lance!

Day late!
So...I'm a day late on my weekly review but I decided to do it anyway! Here are a few things I'm especially grateful for from last week!
- A happy, healthy Eternal family
- A wonderful Prophet and membership in the church
- The opportunity to see old friends
- Moisture in the form of SNOW (although, it is getting to the point of "too much")
- Great Ladies who let me visit-teach them
- Fast Sunday
- Laexin's excitement at his first "Playdate"
- UVSC's water-line breakage so LeGrand could come home early from school
- A nice, warm home!
