Cute-ness

If this little lady would arrive, I might get over my obsession to continue making things for her :) --She already has an outfit a day (at least until she's 16 -lol) --along with a hair bow & blanket to match each. Man, I have a problem (either that, or I just am feeling the lack of time I'll have on my hands once she is here!)

Just a few things I've whipped up in the last couple of days --and SUPER thanks to my Fabulous friend Jen for helping put together the darling Hair accessories! :)

{before and afters of some re-purposes I did}

Easter!

LeGrand had to work half a day on Easter so Laex and I just hung out int he morning and while he was taking his nap the Easter Bunny came and hid his Goodies and Eggs! --He had a blast finding them all! Then...we colored eggs - of course Laex LOVED it!

Spring Time ??

I LOVE Spring! But...It's APRIL 6th and I'm kinda tired to waking up to WHITE STUFF (aka S.N.O.W) on the Ground (dang Global WARMING - lol) --

I guess there is one plus, we got half of the garden planted about two weeks ago --yep, the peas, turnips, beets and radishes are LOVE.ING the moisture :)

I, on the other hand, am aching to go out and enjoy some sunshine - I'm done hibernating!

Hunting EGGS and TREASURE!

Laex, Grammie, Papa, Aunt Kenzie and I went Egg hunting {unfortunately, LeGrand was working :( } --it was cold, but so.much.fun and Laex made a hauling :)

We finished off the visit from the family with a trip to the Water Moon --we recently discovered this place with Trev and Ramey and I think it's become Trev's favorite --he LOVES Chinese food and Sushi --Laex got a hold of the camera and took some pictures for us :)

After returning home, Laex and I took a nap while LeGrand had to try out his new toy --A Metal Detector -- He LOVES hunting treasures! He found his first treasure right in our back yard - A DIME - LOL, what a hoot! He made me take a picture of his first find with his new detector!

SurPRISE!

I Love, LOVE surprises! BUT...in 7 years of marriage I've never been able to pull one off for LeGrand.

He turned the BIG THREE-O on March 31st, and since I had nothing else going on the past month or so {LOL} - I decided a milestone like that isn't complete without a SURPRISE PARTY! The Party happened Friday night and I'm sad to say it still wasn't a surprise {turns out one of the invites got returned just two days prior -so he knew something was up, though he didn't know when it would happen} - OH WELL - at least I didn't go into labor or something ALTHOUGH that would've been a good SURPRISE :).

We still had a great time with all of LeGrand's favorite foods, family and friends!

The Nursery!

I've FINALLY finished {just about :)} --Here's the Princess' new home {whenever she arrives}!

...and MORE Nesting

Here's a few more blankets {and believe it or not, these aren't the last of them :)} --they aren't quite finished, but getting there - LeGrand said to me, "does one child really need 12 blankets" --um, pretty much :)

After searching High and Low for the PER.FECT diaper bag --I found the one I'm totally in LOVE with --this bad boy:

BUT...who in their RIGHT MIND has $200.00+ dollars to spend on a diaper bag?? --Don't get me wrong, sometimes I wish I did :)

SO...I compromised and whipped up this:

AND...I LOVE IT!!

Stay tuned for the Braceletes and Hair Bows --Seriously, every Girl MUST be Accessorized! :)
