On to the State Tournament

We had a great weekend in Boise at the state tournament the first part of March.  We went into the tournament as the underdogs and won our first game.  Second game was a tough one and we ended up loosing.  Then we played for 3rd place and won!  Made us feel better that the team who ended up winning the tournament was the only team that we lost to.  So proud of these boys, I know it wasn't the ending they were hoping for but they played their hearts out and battled it out to the end...Laexin even got a dunk in and was awarded player of the game!  So awesome for him to finish his rough year in such a good way!

Susie and Randy have been his biggest fans, following us to every game and being his biggest cheerleaders!  They awarded Susie the most dedicated fan award.  They are the BEST!

Feels a little sad to be experiencing all of these 'lasts'...I hope that it isn't the last time we get to see him play ball, one of my favorite things is to watch him play.  He talks about playing in college after his mission, I hope he does!
