State Basketball ended on March 8th, on March 9th we met my parents in Heber City and dropped off the 3 youngest kids and on March 10th we were on our way to Japan with Laexin for his Senior trip. Japan has been on his bucket list since taking a Japanese Humanities class when he was in the 8th grade, we were excited to get to take him for his senior trip.
We planned to be able to leave right after Basketball state...he was a bit bummed because he was chosen to play in the all star game and couldn't because we were out of town.
Japan was a dream! I'll be making separate book for the trip, we had a fabulous time and it was so fun to experience it with Laexin. He had submitted his papers for his mission the week of basketball state and so we expected that his call would come while we were in Japan, and it did! What a fun memory to open his call while in Japan.
