LeGrand was pretty determined that we cut a real tree this year. I love a good live tree but wasn't sure where we were going to find one without going far, not to mention when we were going to find the time to go looking. Well, LeGrand made it happen :) We went up by the scout cabin, he was just sure there were plenty to choose from even though we had never really been up there to see --needless to say there were slim pickings unless we wanted to hike all day. Luckily he redeemed himself and found this tree that ended up being just perfect...after we trimmed it down :) Since it was a nice weekend we put up the Christmas lights too. The kids were more interested in decorating themselves!
