Party Time

On Friday August 1st, Mom, Dad, Trev (who just happened to be visiting from TX) and the kids came to Rock Springs.  We had arrived the night before.

We celebrated Laexin's birthday with presents, Swimming at the rec center & Pizza --all on his request :)

Later that evening Ramey arrived while we were at dinner (she had to work that day and has busy finishing up stuff to quit her job and move).
That night we had a motel room, the kids all wanted to spend the night at Aunt Kenz's together!

Saturday we celebrated Lytzi's 1st Birthday!  The kids had fun playing on the playground near Kenz's house.

We had a fun Camper Themed party with a hot dog bar & a darling camper cake that Kenz had made!

And of course Lytz got spoiled with all kinds of fun gifts - a minky blanket from aunt Ramey, clothes from Aunt Kenz & a super fun TeePee from Grammie and Papa!

7 Years Old!

Can't believe it's been 7 years since we brought home this guy!  He's such a good kid, loves all sports, takes good care of his sisters and is super smart.  I'm so blessed to be his mom!

He got to open his presents from us in the afternoon then we got on the road to Rock Springs, had sushi for dinner then he was adamant that he be able to blow out candles on a cake ON his Birthday - he wasn't about to wait till the next day when we were having the party.

 

He cracks me up, he was very specific about what he wanted for his birthday and made a point to tell me that when he came out of his room he didn't think I decorated and was happy to see that I did - I told him I put dad in charge of the decorating and he said, 'he did a good job' LOL - he has in his head how it should play out.  Thank heavens he tells me so I can live up to his expectations :)

Lytzi Turns 1!

Dinner's best when it's all over you  :)

WOW! It's been a year!  Some days it seems like it flew by, others it feels like times standing still.  We could not be happier to have this little lady in our home.  She is a pure joy!  Walking at 10 months has surly gotten her out of her shell and she is as busy as possible taking things from one room and dropping them clear across the house then back for more stuff to scatter around, she exhausts me :)  But she is so easy and generally happy and content.  We planned a Birthday party with the family in Rock Springs for both Lytzi and Laex so on her birthday we just celebrated with her very own cake which she obviously enjoyed!

She also had fun opening presents and playing with balloons!
