...and the rest of March!

I'm not sure where the past month and a half went, but it seems things aren't getting any slower around here :)

We celebrated St. Patty's with a visit from the Silly Leprechaun who changed our Milk green & left clover confetti everywhere ;) the kids loved the 'lucky charms' they got to go with the milk!

We had a few really nice days & LeGrand took Laex out for the first fishing trip of the summer :) there are plenty of great fishing spots near us and Laex can't wait for a summer of fishing!

At the end of March I spent a week in Utah for my last boutique, it was a ton of prepping, and a busy week full of boutique & house parties --but all the work paid off & I'm happy to be almost out of inventory and moving on to new adventures :)   While I spent time dealing with inventory & pricing the kids had a blast with the boxes!

And, the final day of March, the 31st, LeGrand celebrated his 32nd Birthday!  All he wanted was a relaxing day to do nothing --and that is just what he got!  Oh, Ya and he bought himself this bad boy...55" of entertainment ;)  I must add, we've been married nearly 10 years and this is the FIRST TV we've bought - pretty good, huh?!

RS Birthday Party!

I'm playing a little 'catch up'!
Back in March we had our RS Birthday Celebration which I themed around a 'Royal' Celebration.  Everyone wore their best hats (we had some really creative ones) we had a awesome fondue buffet, a wonderful speaker and a fun little craft.  It was a fun night!

Life!

Things have been a tad bit crazy around here lately :)  As an Enrichment leader I've been over the RS Birthday Party which we are having on Thursday, this calling is right down my alley & I'm excited for the 'Royal' Celebration! 
AND as if that wasn't enough --I got ANOTHER calling... {I think I've said way too many times, "We live in the middle of nowhere, what am I going to do - I'm gonna be so lonely."  Well, Heavenly Father was like, "Oh ya, I can help with that, I'll just keep you too busy to worry about yourself." :) } So now I'm getting excited (and a bit nervous) for GIRLS CAMP this year!  I loved girls camp as a youth & I hope I can do it justice as Camp Director!
We've now been in Grace, 6 months!  Some days, it feels like forever - other days I can't believe it.  We are slowly getting accustomed to the routine of a whole day shopping trip once every couple of weeks, and I'm learning to live with going days at a time without seeing anyone but the kids & LeGrand - I did find myself a workout group that I go to 3 days a week, it has been my sanity :)  I can even say we've made a few friends :)
One thing is for sure, we live in a beautiful place --the other day I looked out the window to see these guys (& gals!)

Feelin' the LOVE!

We celebrate Love EVERYDAY at our house :)  But, of course I love an excuse to do something special!  The Friday evening before Valentines LeGrand and I FINALLY made a trip to the Temple --it's kind of a big deal to drive an hour to the temple, it takes a bit more planning!  Before we moved to Idaho we were fairly good about attending the Temple once a month, now I understand what a blessing that was to have so many temples so close!  We had a fun night out together, the temple, dinner & dessert then headed back home!

For Valentines dinner we had heart shaped pizza's that we made, yummy pink smoothies & delicious layered dessert!  The kids were in heaven & LeGrand and I laughed at the change our Valentines dinners have taken over the years :)

LeGrand always spoils me!  He came carrying in this jewelry box, I thanked him & kissed him and Laex said, "Dad, did you go to Kay Jewelers?" LeGrand didn't skip a beat, he said, "Nope, I went to Jared!" - I was trying so hard not to laugh, I think these two watch too much TV :)  Lucky for me, he actually didn't go to either!!!  He was very thoughtful and got me this customized necklace which he ordered off Etsy {I'm so proud that's he shops on Etsy!}  I love, Love, LOVE thoughtful gifts, especially if they are handmade!

We had visitors, we had visitors, we had visitors!  And we were super excited about it, can you tell?
LeGrand's "brother-from-another-mother" Brad, his awesome wife Candace & handsome little man Broc came to visit for the weekend.  It is always SO nice to have friends visit!  We had a great weekend with good food, games, swimming, more games, relaxing,  and lots of catching up!  We loved every minute of it and are always sad to see it come to an end!

Family Fun!

I've been finding some fun ideas of ways to make family together time more exciting - and lets face it, out here in the sticks we need more excitement!  {have I ever mentioned, we can't even have pizza delivered!} 
So, a couple of weeks ago we spent our friday night like penguins :)  We ate fish & shrimp for dinner, in the form of salmon melts & popcorn shrimp.  We made penguin snacks and watched Mr. Poppers Penguins!  The kids loved it!
