The day he never thought would come! Laexin had a great last couple of weeks of school while we were working away in Texas. He was able to stay with Grandma Susie and Randy and enjoy his time with friends. We arrived back in Grace the day before graduation, got to say goodbye to friends and help out with the graduation over-nighter at the Jump Zone in Pocky. So dang proud of this kid! His high school career definitely didn't go anything like he had imagined with a move to SC and plenty of challenges and obstacles to overcome. He's a great kid, with a big heart and the ability to make everyone feel included ---I'm excited about how he will transform in the next few years!
While we were in town for the last time I was able to say goodbye to friends--it is definitely the people that make leaving so hard. I'm beyond grateful for the handful of deep, lasting friendships that Grace brought me. They have changed my life! I'll especially miss Randy and Susie and my lunch dates with Mel and Mya!
Then two days after graduation Laexin got his wisdom teeth out and we were on the road to Ogden for Shylo's daughter Casey's wedding, following the wedding we headed to Brad and Candaces to spend the night before we were back on the road to Texas. This made 3 trips back and forth to Texas in two months, we were spent!
