September Shenanigans

The nice thing about the weather staying warm is that our Summer fun got to continue through September!  The Birds had a fun birthday party where the kids got to do plenty of swimming!  Even I took a few trips down that wild slide :)

We also got to enjoy a fun Birthday Party with all of the Moss clan...the kids swam and played their hearts out!

We took a little day trip up to North Carolina and found us an Orchard to visit...in the fall there's an abundance of Orchards with all of the cider, apple donuts, frozen cider, apple pies you can get your hands on- yum!

The stake had a fun Mud Run activity for the youth...Laexin and Loa both had a great time!

Our friends, the Wilcox's started a little chapter of BYU Alumni in our area and we all got together to watch one of the games...the kids had a great time with their own game of football.

We live in a great little neighborhood that gets together often, we finally made it to one of the bbq & swim evenings...the kids always love to swim!

Loa started English riding lessons.  She is really struggling with this big change, leaving all of her friends and having a hard time figuring out how to make friends at her new school.  She LOVES her church friends, but unfortunately none of them go to her school.  I had the clear impression during church one Sunday that I should put her in riding lessons, it was later that evening that she came in once again crying about not wanting to go to school. I felt like maybe giving her something to look forward to would help with the challenge of all of the changes.  I avoided it for a while because of the cost but after the impression at church I decided to just bite the bullet and do it.  She loves riding and it has helped for her to have something to look forward to.

Linqs school had a morning where the parents could come have breakfast with him.

More fun in the water...a big lake party at the Birds has become one of our favorite things!

We finished out our September with a trip to a Sunflower patch with lots of friends from the ward.
