LeGrand had to head to St. George for work, and although it was in the dead heat of July we weren't about to stay home! Also, side note. We had been working on getting the loan finalized for the house since April and it was FINALLY ready to be signed - just so happened to be the week LeGrand was going to be gone so we made arrangements to sign in St. George and the kids and I headed a day earlier than planned.
After exactly NINETY-ONE days [yes THREE MONTHS] --we FINALLY signed those papers. It was a grueling, drawn-out, complicated by COVID, rough process and we were beyond thrilled to finally close!
St. George was a little warm ;)
Of course the kids weren't sad at all about hot weather, it just meant they got to swim everyday, somedays more than once!
One of our all time favorite things is visiting Dad's work, hunting lizards. And since we were there at the right time of the year this time we got to enjoy fresh blackberries and we had so much fun hunting Crawdads --couldn't believe we haven't done this before!
They love helping dad rake screens...then we saw this cute family of ducks!
Lizard!
Petting the horses!
We had so much fun catching Crawdads that we went back the next day, after hitting the dollar store for some catching buckets! Still wondering why we have never done this before in all these years of visiting St. George, definitely our highlight and a great way to spend the last day before we headed for home!
I feel so blessed that we get to make these fun memories together!
