Easter & A Cruise!

It's pretty pathetic that I blog like once a month --I'm trying to get better!

I've been extra busy with Liv'N Chic (if you haven't visited the website DO IT, and make sure you LIKE us on FB) and I decided that the ONLY way I was going to get a break was to disconnect myself :) -plus we needed some family time together, BAD! SO, we booked a Cruise! Technically it wasn't TRUE family time because Loa stayed home with Grammie and Papa {I'm still feeling a little guilty about this} -in my opinion it just wouldn't be fun for us or her if she came so we let her stay home & get super spoiled by Grammie and Papa!

LinkFriday April 22nd Loa headed to Vernal with Uncle Cade. Then Saturday we hit up an Easter Egg hunt in the morning and headed to the Airport in the afternoon {we were flying buddy passes so we were just hoping to get on our flights and not miss the cruise - but thanks to my great friend Paige we didn't have a bit of trouble!} --After a night of flying we finally arrived in Ft. Lauderdale! Laexin was bouncing off the walls he was so excited!

We Spent the week on the Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas (the world's
biggest cruise ship to date!) And the Ship was AMAZING - It had a Carasal, Ice skating Ring, Splash park Rock walls (2), Zip Line, Flow Riders (2), Aqua Theater, Central Park, Basketball Court Mini Golf...-They have what is called the "Dreamworks Experience" so we got to hang out with Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar & How To Train Your Dragon Characters all week! Laex Loved it! We went Western Caribbean which LeGrand and I have done before on Princess, we weren't impressed with the stops we made on this ship but really we went for the ship-and it was a cruise, how can you not have fun!!

          We explored the ship!

We Mini Golfed, and Mini Golfed some more!

We ate, too much :)

   We swam!

Laex hung out with the 3-5 year old in the adventure ocean club, they had different themes everyday - he did dinosaur activities, became a pirate, went on fuzz buzz walks, played trains, watched puppet shows, had a circus party...
We watched some great shows including a "How to train your Dragon Ice Show" and a "Madagascar" Aqua Show, along with "Chicago" the musical (wouldn't recommend it), a good comedy show and others!

We took a glass bottom boat & Snorkeled (what do you feed fish in Mexico? Tortillas, of course!), Chilled on the Beach, Had Coconut Juice straight from the coconut and a taxi ride we'll NEVER forget.

We had the BEST state room attendant and Laex loved the towel animals, a bat, a monkey, an armadillo and a dog!

We had some good laughs -anyone who has cruised before can attest to the amount of drinking that happens - you've probably also seen those bags full of alcohol people carry around {honestly who needs a six pack with them all.the. time?} anyway, we nick named it the "Burse" {beer-purse:)} We also ran into Sasquatch one day at the pool, this man was hairier that I could even imagine anyone could be, ewwww.

We had at least an ice cream cone a day - most days two :) --who can resist all you can eat frozen yogurt?

Best of all we soaked up the sun in the PERFECT weather!

On our way home we had a L O N G layover in JFK, if you know me you know my love for NYC --I couldn't help myself, we jumped on the subway and LAex had his first experience in the city! It was short but we did see "Michael Jackson" and the "Singing Cowgirl" and have some pizza! --The city just excites me! I love it!

We had a BLAST! But, it was nice to be home -and Loa was sooo happy to see us!
