This year we (I) decided that instead of a BIG Far-Away vacation with a 2-month old (No-Thanks), we would take advantage of all the FUN things around our Great State! --there are so many things I've never done that are right here!
We kicked off our FUN this past weekend with a Carnival (those things rip-you-off, but Laex had a blast and that's what counts!) and a Wick-A (a SUPER FUN night where the Wick's and A's get together - started years ago and only gets better! Thanks Friends!)
Then, a visit to the Zoo (through Laex's eyes {he was always one step ahead of us}-see pictures), a stop at Su Casa for a trip down High School memorie lane for LeGrand, and finished off with a couple of hours at Liberty park or "Mom's Park" as Laex would call it :) - Not everyone gets a park named after them ;)
