On Friday night we enjoyed an evening with the neighborhood in the annual Neighborhood Night Out Against Crime (wow, that's a mouthful). The local police, fire and paramedics all get together and do presentations, police car rides, bike parade, fire engine exploration and more. Well, it just so happens that LeGrand just got called to be the "block captain" for our block, in charge of the neighborhood watch and preparedness (did you know that was a calling??) - so he had to help out, it was a fun time.

Thats cool that they do that. I didn't know there was a calling like that. Your little guys is getting so big, we need to make a night of it and go get some Mexican food! I'll email you!
Laex is so dang cute! His expressions are so funny sometimes. I love it! And how cool that your neighborhood is so proactive about crime prevention. That's probably why you never hear about murders in S.S. (:
