Anniversary!

On November 15th LeGrand and I celebrated 12 years of Marriage - I truly can't believe it!  I'm blessed beyond my wildest dreams to be married to LeGrand and have the life we've created!  He's a man who works hard, but puts family first.  He honors his priesthood, he's the funnest Dad, he keeps things light and exciting and supports me in all I do!

Of course he was working so the kids and I met up with him in Soda and went to breakfast.

That evening we were able to get away to the temple in Logan, we had a great evening at the Temple and dinner.

Halloween & a visit from Grammie & Papa

Grammie and Papa came to visit on October 29th and stayed through Saturday the 1st.  We had all sorts of fun and the weather was really nice so that was a great bonus! LeGrand worked the whole time which is always a bummer but it's nice he gets home by 3:30.

Loa had a Halloween party at school on Wednesday - she was SO excited to be Elsa and kept telling me that she looked 'just like her' - she giggled all the way to school!

Dad, Mom and & made some cute hubcap flowers Wednesday & Thursday

Wednesday evening we went to dinner for Dad's birthday (we celebrated a couple days early)

And I caught an Amazing Idaho sunset on the way home - they never get old :)

On Thursday I did Laexins class party (I'm the room mom) -it was nice to have extra help from Mom and Dad

Thursday night I made us a Halloween dinner - Enchiladas, 7 layer dip, Horchata & rice, it was yum!

Friday Dad took the kids to the Thatcher school and metal detected and Mom and I finished our flowers then met up with them.  Then we came home and got everyone ready to go trick or treating.
We went to the Andersons in Thatcher, they put on a super fun Halloween night, we had soup for dinner, hot cocoa & donuts then the kids go around the yard and trick our treat out of tons of different buckets of candy - it was lots of fun.  After that we were pretty much done except Laex who wanted to do some real trick or treating so LeGrand took him for about an hour.

Saturday Morning LeGrand took a couple hours off and went metal detecting with Dad back at Thatcher school till about noon then Mom and Dad headed on their way home.

It was a fun, busy weekend :)

Pumpkins & Park Day

The weekend before Halloween the weather was extra nice for Idaho and this time of the year.  We took the kids to Soda Springs where they have a event with free pumpkins and chili, it was a good time and we got plenty of free pumpkins :)

On the way home we stopped for one last day at the park while the weather was nice, they loved every minute!

Homecoming & Princess Academy

This year for Homecoming Grace High School hosted a Princess Academy - of course Loa was pumped.  It was a fun couple of hours where the girls got to learn how to be princesses, complete with a tea party, proper curtsy's, dancing, tiara's & graduation.  Loa's going to be Elsa for Halloween but her costume didn't show up in time, then I went to her dress ups to find a princess dress and they were hammered, needless to say we settled on a tutu which she was completely happy with.  On our way out the door she made it a point to tell me that she 'really needs some new princess dresses' :) .

All of the princesses also got to be in the Homecoming Parade, along with Anna, Elsa & Rapunzel.

Laex was also super excited to ride his school's float in the parade and be able to throw candy.

And little sister was pretty excited to have all of the candy to herself :)

I love me a good small town football game but with three crazy kids it's just not really a good time :) so we passed on the game and tailgate party.
