We planned a visit to Balmorhea state park with Cade & Shaylee and Kenz & Jed, we were a little bummed that the day was overcast and even got rainy at one point but the kids didn't seem to mind. We were having a pretty good time until Cad slipped on the stairs while carrying two of his kids and ended up dislocating his shoulder. They had to take him by ambulance to the nearest hospital, 30 minutes away. Jed went with him. All the Moms finished letting the kids play and then packed up and headed to pick them up at the hospital. It was quite the eventful day, we were just glad it wasn't a worse outcome.

Randoms
In between the projects we tried to have some fun too...we discovered a driving range and had a fun time visiting it a few times.
And the kids made the most of the old tub in the driveway!
Slowly all the completed projects were transforming the space.
We discovered that Lubbock has a drive-in so when they were playing the live action Lilo and Stitch plus How to Train your Dragon we took advantage of the opportunity and went. Lubbock might not be the prettiest place but one thing is for sure, the sunrises and sunsets are amazing!
Another Road Trip....South Carolina!
We were so happy to be reunited with our friends in South Carolina...we hit the ground running and played hard! Had a fun first day playing at the river.
The next day was Linq's birthday, we spent the day playing at the lake at Whitney's parents house on lake Greenwood that evening the Christoffersons also arrived so they were able to celebrate with us.
On the 4th of July we had a fun day at the lake followed by fireworks at Devins house. We had so much fun spending time with our friends...it felt like being home! And I was so happy to meet and get to love on baby Parx!
Goodbyes are the WORST! Even after nearly a month of staying with the friends it didn't seem like long enough. Already looking forward to the next time!
