LeGrands Birthday #37!

The day before LeGrands Birthday one of his friends from work retired and they held a retirement party in Ogden.  His parents were nice enough to watch the kids for us and we headed down for a night away from Wednesday the 29th - Thursday the 30th of March.  I had to document the amount of water in Sardine canyon --all of the moisture we've got this year has sure piled up --this isn't supposed to be a lake!

I secretly set up dinner with the Belchers - It was fun to see them and have some time to catch up over some yummy Sushi :)  - I got a migraine at dinner and was sick to my stomach so I didn't get to eat much, but they tell me it was delicious!

On our way home we picked up some new 'family members'...looking forward to having fresh eggs!  The kids were super excited about the chicks!

LeGrand is in the pathway program trying to finish up his degree and has class every Thursday night - so in honor of his Birthday the kids and I surprised him with a 7 layer desert at his class.

On his Birthday we took him to a Southern/Cajun restaurant in Logan (MayMoes) for some crawfish, catfish, frog legs and jambalaya...he loved it!  The kids on the other hand had a hard time getting over eating something with the eyes and legs still attached, ha ha.  They were all good sports though and everyone tried everything! 

This guy is just the best!  We sure had fun celebrating him :)
