And yes, we still had snow on our mountains at the end of May, but isn't that view amazing! I'm learning each day to love where I live!
Since we are back in 'the country' we told the kids they could have a dog so we've been watching and looking for the perfect dog when our friends told us about this Idaho Shag breed (pretty much a cross between Australian shepherd, border collie & Airedale). We finally tracked on down and were able to get our new puppy at the end of May. He is such a good dog, we are pleased with the minimal barking and that he doesn't chase cars, two of the things we hated about patchy. We named him Couver after Vancouver :)
I let these two take a bath together one day and they thought it was pretty much the best thing ever, Linq just kept crawling from one end of the tub to the other and splashing like crazy!
We celebrated the last day of school with a trip to an arcade in Pocatello -Outer Limits- the kids have been begging to go to and arcade and they had a lot of fun!
Loa hit the jackpot!
Loa has been driving me crazy with her hair, I love it long so I've just continually resisted the temptation to cut it off so I don't have to deal with the crying and screaming every time I fix it. But finally I decided since it's the end of the school year that we'd cut it and she was more than happy to let me. It looks cute on her but hasn't really cut down on much of the whining about having her hair fixed!
Linq has become our little climber, as I've been painting and working on other projects I often look up to find him on the top of the step stool - little stinker! He also loves to climb on the dishwasher and learned how to climb onto the couch!
Climbing onto the little trampoline with the puppy!
My little princess superhero - never a dull moment with this girl. I believe she has all of the personality at our house!
At the beginning of June I got to go to Brinley's graduation from Riverton High School (held at UVU). LeGrand took the day off work and stayed home with the kids and I thoroughly enjoyed being able to catch up with Jen and see Brinley graduated, I can't believe how fast the years seem to go by - it doesn't feel like she should already be graduating. So proud of her and the awesome young lady she is - I just love those Dillons!
Look at all of those graduates!
