Sunday Funnies!

I walked into workout group last Monday and was caught by a member of our Primaries Presidency who said, "I've got to tell you what happened in Primary yesterday."  I was like, "Oh, crap!" (you just never know with my child!)

I guess they were watching a movie of the Prodigal Son, and the lady playing the movie mentioned to the other presidency members that the movie had a belly dancer in it but that she didn't think anyone would notice.  They all agreed that it would be okay.  Well, the moment the belly dancer popped up on the screen, my son says very loudly, "Oh, YEAAAAAH!" --they said they were laughing so hard that some of them had to leave the room.

What a kid!  All I can say, is like father like son! He comes by it honestly! :)

Loa turns 2!

I'm pretty sure the terrible two's hit the day of her birthday, all of the sudden she's twice the 'princess' she ever was (and I thought it was bad before...) WOWSER!  Hopefully I make it through the teen years :)

I'll admit, it probably didn't help that I decided that it is time to ween her from her Binkie --she's only been using it at night and some naps but she definitely doesn't like being away from it!

She had a fun, low-key birthday this year.  Since we celebrated when the family was all here we just had a relaxing day, had breakfast at the 'Lunch Express',  made birthday cookies & finished off the day at the ward pinewood derby.

A little bit of Grace for EASTER!

What better place to spend Easter than in GRACE?!
We hosted the whole Hoopes Bunch + LeGrand's Parents for a fun 5 day Easter weekend!  We ate lots of good food, Colored Easter Eggs, Celebrated Loa's Birthday with Pizza & Bowling, went on walks, hunted Easter Eggs, Shot guns, went fishing, played games, flew kites & had a lot of late nights!  The kids had a blast together and we made lots of fun memories!  Thanks to everyone for visiting us in our quiet little neck of the woods :)
