Water Fun

It's been an extra rainy end of summer/beginning of fall here.  Every time a big storm rolls in the kids beg to go play in the rain, they love it!

Laex got a slip n slide for his birthday and the kids spent 4 days straight playing on it --Lytzi even got in on the fun!

Little Loa laid out a bit too long in the sun to dry off and had a major wedgie, resulting in some seriously rosy cheeks, ouch!

Caribou County Fair

The first week in August brings all the fun this little town can handle!  The fair is a BIG DEAL and people look forward to it all year -we mostly look forward to the food :)

The berries and cream are so yum!  We also love the hand dipped corn dogs and of course we have to have a 'fair burger', scone & corn on the cob every year :)

Laex had a fun time riding his bike in the kids parade, Loa had no desire she'd rather watch!

And we loaded up the candy at the main parade! 

I helped with the fair booth on our wards night, the kids and I entered stuff into the fair - they were excited to get blue ribbons and earn some money :)  and that's about it!  We did't even hit up the demolition derby, as much as we love it the kids only last about 20 minutes before they've had enough!

Party Time

On Friday August 1st, Mom, Dad, Trev (who just happened to be visiting from TX) and the kids came to Rock Springs.  We had arrived the night before.

We celebrated Laexin's birthday with presents, Swimming at the rec center & Pizza --all on his request :)

Later that evening Ramey arrived while we were at dinner (she had to work that day and has busy finishing up stuff to quit her job and move).
That night we had a motel room, the kids all wanted to spend the night at Aunt Kenz's together!

Saturday we celebrated Lytzi's 1st Birthday!  The kids had fun playing on the playground near Kenz's house.

We had a fun Camper Themed party with a hot dog bar & a darling camper cake that Kenz had made!

And of course Lytz got spoiled with all kinds of fun gifts - a minky blanket from aunt Ramey, clothes from Aunt Kenz & a super fun TeePee from Grammie and Papa!
