Visit from The Mosses & Goodbyes

Before me knew we were moving we had a little road trip to Nauvoo planned with the Whitney Moss family.  Both her and Mercedes and their kids were going to stop by and spend a few nights on their way home from their summer trip to Utah and then we were going to head with Whitney to Nauvoo.  I decided that there was no reason to cancel the trip so they still came and hung with us in an empty house!  Our friends were SO generous and nice, inviting us to use their pools and feeding us and taking such great care of us, we were spoiled and have been so blessed to have such great people in our lives!

After all of our weekend fun, we had to say some really hard goodbyes to our friends --UGH!
I was doing pretty good until Loa had to say goodbye to Jordyn and Annie as we were leaving church - about ripped my heart out 😭

Linq caught a pic with on of our favorites, Elder McGarry

And later that day the neighborhood kids all came over to say there goodbyes and brought lots of snacks for the road --gosh we will miss these kids, and this neighborhood!

Lubbock will ALWAYS have a piece of our hearts!
