Scout-O-Rama

A few weeks ago LeGrand came home with a Family ticket to the Scout-O-Rama, and he was STOKED! I, having never experienced the Scout-O-Rama wasn't so sure.

Well, last Saturday we made our way to the South Towne Expo. for a WHOLE LOT of scouting fun! LeGrand was so excited to take Laex, he grew up going to the Scout-O-Rama and has lots of fun memories!
Laex had a BLAST! There were millions of scouts and lots of fun booths and games set up for the kids to enjoy --Laex got very upset when we told him it was time to leave!

Two weeks!

At her 2 week, little LoaLin was a whopping 7 lbs 8 oz (gained a lb since leaving the hospital) and 21 inches! We are enjoying the crap out of her --AND the best news, her BIG BROTHER is getting used to her and loving her more by the day! (It's so hard to "share" parents with someone else)

She eats Great!
She sleeps Great!
She Poops a lot!

Such a Joy!

Enjoying ourselves!

We LOVED having our Dad home to hang out! We spent lots of time playing, hanging out at the Park, and watching movies. I really hated to see him go back, but it had to happen eventually!

It's nice to be in the comforts of our home!

Everyone is Fantastic and we are LOVING the time we get to have Daddy home to just hang out with us! The nights are long for now, but that's to be expected :)

Our Little Lady!

Little Miss LoaLin came into the world, in.style. !

Tuesday night (4/13/10) I began feeling contractions around 10:30 PM, by 11:15 I decided it was serious and we were quickly on the road to the hospital! - the 20 min trip was grueling, I won't lie!

We made it, 11:45

I got checked, the nurse said, "um, you're at a 9 - we'll call your doctor"

Nurse returned, "Were you planning on an epidural"

Me, "No, but I wouldn't mind some pain killer in my IV" ( I didn't have an Epidural with Laexin and thought the second would be easier so I might as well go without)

Me, "Can I not push"

Nurse leaving the room, "She's feeling the need to push"

Suddenly a rush of nurses - at least 5 of them, rolling in the cart for doc., the cart for baby and all the necessities --This is serious!

Nurse, in the hall, "There's a midwife in the hospital, see if she can come down"

Midwife arrives quickly, I push through three contractions and our "princess" arrives at straight up midnight! (Too bad it wasn't New Years :)

5 Min. later, my Doc. walks in, "Sorry I missed the excitement!"

Side Note: the pain meds never came to be - there was no time for anything - I never even got an IV in!

All in all - it was Awesome - painful, uncomfortable, NOT fun but, it was super exciting and I couldn't be happier with how quickly everything happened! I do know one thing - I better LIVE at the Hospital with the next one --I don't even want the chance of having a child in.the.car :)

She's an Angel!

My Boys!

NO Folks, the baby hasn't arrived yet! --Her OFFICIAL Due Date is this coming Saturday the 17th, and if she's anything like her Brother she'll be coming Right.On.Time. I think I'm finally ready so she can arrive any day now - in fact secretly I'm hoping not to make it to my Friday appointment :)

Anyway--Just some fun pictures of my Boys! LeGrand was out tending to the Garden and I looked out to see this sight - so CUTE!

On Saturday Laex got invited to his first "official" Birthday Party --of course we couldn't miss it, especially because it was a "Spongebob" party at the one and only CHUCK-E-CHEESE. The bowling is his favorite!
