Linq turns 1

On July 3rd our little buddy turned 1.  In a lot of ways it has definitely felt like a year and in many other ways I can't believe it has gone by so fast.
This little guy is just the best!  He is much more chill than the other kids but also gets really mad if he is hungry or tired.  He just loves to follow his siblings around and play with them when they'll let him.  He loves to be outside.  He is very curious about everything and is recently learning to open cupboards and pull things out.  He loves to empty the shoe rack and also has an obsession with the treasures in the garbage cans!  He has been such a joyful addition to our family, he's just a lovable kid!  He sleeps great and is recently starting to get a little picky about what he eats, hopefully we can get over that soon :)  His brother and sisters just love him to pieces and Lytzi especially loves to maul him and drag him all over the house pulling his arm to make him move faster.

We had a pretty low key celebration, hopefully he won't be mad someday that he was the only child that didn't get a bit hoorah for his 1st birthday.  The kids did have fun helping me decorate and blowing blowers for him!

He loved his cake and the kids loved egging him on to eat more!

We got him a couple little toys then put most of his Birthday money in his bank account --he'll appreciate that someday ;)
