We've been trying to enjoy our summer, the kids are involved in the reading program at the library, we have to read 6 hours a month and they get fun prizes every week for reading & at the end of each month they get lots of great rewards, like free dinners, books, swim passes to Lava Hot Springs & more - we've also been attending reading time on Monday's and they love it!
We are also making great use of our fire pit and have already hosted a couple of nights of BBQ'ing and Smore's, it's so beautiful here - we love to sit out and enjoy the cool weather and awesome views, while chatting with great friends!
It wouldn't be summer (or any season, for that matter) at our house if there weren't ice cream involved!
We've spent some time on pic-nics at the local park, it's not the greatest but they love it!
On Saturday after camp I needed a day of nothing to think about so we went fishing just below our house at our friends little pond, we all had a blast and we caught plenty of fish to keep the kids entertained!
